One of the many initiatives that the Chamber is involved in, is to continue to encourage our community to support our local businesses. TheChamber’s Economic Development Council is organizing a number of cash mobsthat will take place throughout the City of Redondo Beach that will have a definitely positive impact for the local businesses. And, we all get to have fun at the same time! What is a Cash Mob?A cash mob is a group of people who assemble at a local business to make purchases. The cash mobsare promoted by everyone and encourage fans to visit a particular business on a specific day and time. People are invited to participate through everyone making multiple purchases at the same time, greatly helping to support the local businesses. Who’s Getting MOBBED?Mystical Joy and A Basq Kitchen are going to launch the cash mob this year. The event is scheduled to take place on Friday, March 24 at 4:00 p.m.
