Our services include, but are not limited to, assistance with actives of daily living. Our companion level of care includes assistance with such items as light house cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, recreational activities, transportation and medication reminders, to name a few. Our personal care includes activities such as; assistance with bathing and hygiene, mobility assistance, continence and toileting care, special diets and feeding assistance, including our companion services. We proudly offer Phillips Life Line products to assist our clients with fall detection, GPS or as a mechanical means of medication reminder. All this with our transportation services, travel companion and the many ways we assist the community demonstrates our value. Our services are accomplished with several layers of oversight and quality assurance including, Client Care Access, Client Satisfaction Surveys and our Client Care Assurance We at First Light Home Care of South Bay believe that the client comes first. This is evident in everything we do to exceed expectations. We are a for profit company however and must charge for our services. We pay our well trained, bonded and insured caregivers better than most in the industry. We make every effort to answer our phones live at all hours of the day and can arrange for services anytime. The overall welfare of our client and caregivers is our greatest concern.

Sometimes it''s a few words of reassurance by Manager, Sal. Other times it's the professionalism and patience shown to me by the caretakers. Whatever "it" is, they execute it perfectly. Thank you Sal and staff for making me feel heard and supported. Most importantly, thank you for treating my loved one with such compassion.

They are always available for random phone calls regarding needing scheduled help, needing last minute help when a family friend was unable to come as planned, when my grandmother was feeling sick and didn't need help as planned, when my grandmother was sick and we needed help unplanned, and once when she had a surprise doctor appointment they coordinated a driver to and from without my knowledge to resolve (let me just say Larry is a hands-on owner). Additionally, while we never used it, they were willing to help with her long-term care insurance filing as well. Another way to show they go the distance to help with any needs.
