The Redondo Beach Chamber of Commerce maintains a Board of Directors that comprises XX? members, each of whom serves a three-year term. The Board is responsible for guiding the strategies, initiatives and policies of the Chamber. Every March, three members are termed-out. Per the Chamber bylaws, a Nominating Committee chooses new candidates from the business community to serve for the next three years. There is an opportunity to petition the candidates as a member of the Chamber. This year, the Nominating Committee has selected the following outstanding citizens and community leaders nominees to serve on the Chamber’s Board of Directors for a three-year term beginning in 2017. Chamber Board of Directors Nominations: Duane Rohrbaugh – The Portofino Hotel & Yacht Club Faisal Hashmi – Farmers & Merchants Bank Brett Henry – Trojan Storage Alex Maurszko – Morgan Stanley Matthew Garth – Northrop Grumman Requirements for nominations from the membership at large Additional names may be added for consideration as a nomination to serve as board member by petition and must bear original signatures of a minimum of ten percent (10%) of qualified members of the Chamber. Such petition shall be filed with the Nominating Committee within ten (10) days after notice has been given about the Nominating Committee's selected candidates.
