8^th Annual July 4^th Celebration to Light Up the Skies of Redondo Beach

The 8^th Annual 4^th of July Redondo Beach Fireworks celebration at the Seaside Lagoon,– www.RedondoFireworks.com – a SELLOUT every year, promises to be the prime spot for your family to be for the 4^th and fireworks in 2014.

The Mayor, City Council and the title sponsor for the second year, CenterCal Properties, developer of the 15-acre Redondo Beach Waterfront Revitalization project, invite you to join them at the lagoon celebrating Independence Day with spectacular fireworks synchronized to patriotic music right overhead, rockin’ entertainment, traditional 4^th of July food, and full service beverage favorites.

Tickets and Tables to the Seaside Lagoon on the 4th, sold online only, help pay for the fireworks show, and they are a particularly appealing way to enjoy this amazing event. They offer reserved seating at picnic tables with umbrellas, or a bring-your-own-blanket for seating under the fireworks show launched just yards away.

Kids will have a ball with their own activities beginning at 2:00pm.  Swimming in the warm water lagoon under the eye of lifeguards, paddleboard lessons and races, humorous and interactive Yankee Doodle Poetry Show and an awesome 56 foot long obstacle course and slide, and the most popular July 4^th Arts and Crafts. There is no additional charge for children’s activities.

Food offerings complement the celebration with traditional July 4^th fare of smoked BBQ chicken plates, sandwiches and salads, hamburgers, hot dogs, veggie burgers, funnel cake, and delicious choices from Ruby’s diner service window that opens on to the lagoon.

The afternoon and evening includes full beverage service and upbeat adult entertainment, from dancing to the beat of legendary local Joe’s Band rock and roll and the Free to Be Me Drum Circle in which all have a hand.

Reserved parking is an added bonus, and shuttles and preferential day-ahead claim to tables are included with several levels of tickets. The 2014 Friends of the Fireworks website – www.redondofireworks.com -- will be updated for this year’s celebration by May 15. Family sponsorship ticket packages will be available online at that time. Pricing is likely to range from $12 for a child to sit on the sand, to $250 for reserved table with umbrella and admission for 10 kids or adults, as well as various parking privileges and other perks.
