Exer Urgent Care - Redondo Beach

I've visited this urgent care twice this year (separate unrelated reasons). Both times the staff I encountered were incredibly friendly and showed genuine care for my injuries. Each visit the doctor took time to thoroughly explain my results and provided clear and easy to follow after care.

The facility itself was clean and welcoming. The wait time was minimal which is also greatly appreciated!!

My experience with Dr Barry Rosen was disappointing and demeaning. I went for a throat infection and mentioned I am prone to strep infections. He laughed at me saying that since my tonsils were out it was impossible to get strep throat. I told him I've had doctors in 7 different states diagnose strep. He sneered and said if it was true then I'm a medical anomaly. When I told this story to six of my friends, turns out they're medical anomalies too. Then I googled it and found that removal of tonsils does not magically prevent strep. And to make it worse he gave me a weak antibiotic so I had to go to another clinic to get better.

Not only did I wait forever I was treated very poorly and there is no one there to answer the phone when you call. All they are taking Money & information and paying.
Only 1 Very Rude Dr by the by the name of Britt Duran MD?

They At least tell you what is going on and answer he phones!!!!

I hit there and was the third person inline . The process was easy and quick . I waited in my car and they text me when i was up next . Everyone was very polite and professional . I even got treated by a doctor , not a physicians assistant which made me more comfortable . They sent my meds in and they were at the pharmacy right when i left urgent care . i am very pleased

Estefany was exceptional! Her invaluable assistance resolved an issue with incorrect insurance information that had previously turned me away. Thanks to her diligent efforts, I was able to receive the care I needed. I'm grateful and will definitely return to this local urgent care.

Great doctor, very helpful., and responsive. Called me the next day to give me results and offered suggestions on future care. Dr. Durham is a caring doctor.

The wait was 3 hours but that's not their fault, it is cold and flu season and they were extremely busy. I liked that after I checked in I was able to check what number I was in order to next being seen. With the 3 hour wait I would have liked to check in online and then track where I am online(not sure if that's an option). When I did see the nurse and doctor they were very friendly and helpful even at the end of a long day.

I came in with excruciating lower back pain as the result of a sports injury. Absolutely nothing urgent about this location. We sat in the waiting room for an hour and a half only to be called back where we then sat in the exam room for another 45 minutes. "You're next in line" doesn't mean anything here. Doc comes in and talks for 15 minutes about nothing then asks if I want pain meds and that's it. This place is severely understaffed and we'll be going to a different location in the future.

Nothing "urgent" about this place. Understaffed, the staff that is there vibes "pressured" and it shows how they speak to the patients.

I've been to this location 3 times and all 3 times the experiences was nothing but very satisfied with the front desk, nurses, doctors, and radiologist.

First time, took my father here because he had a bad reaction to a skin rash.
Second time, took my bff here because he hurt his knee from the gym and wasn't able to stand.
Third time, last night my mother had a fall and her ankle was in pain and bruised. Called and took her in before they closed and they cleaned her wound up, took her xray, and put a support brace on her ankle. Very lucky it was just a bad sprained and nothing was broken or dislocated.

Perhaps it's timing, but everytime we come here the wait is less than 15 minutes and we are seen by the nurses and doctors. They are very thorough.

Facility is always bright and clean as they are always wiping down and disinfecting.

The exam room have an air purifier and makes us feel safer because of covid.

Thank you to all the doctors and nurses here with their patience and knowledge saving us trips to the ER.
