Marine Mammal Care Center Los Angeles

Marine Mammal Care Center LA is the only year-round NOAA-authorized organization rehabilitating sick and injured marine mammals in LA County. Since 1992, it has treated more than 11,000 animals affected by disease, malnutrition, human impacts, and environmental threats. Beyond lifesaving care, MMCC advances ocean conservation through science-based education and community engagements, inspiring the public to prtect marine life and Southern California's coastal ecosystem.
